A little background on me; I am a lifelong resident of Pennsylvania and have lived in the district for almost my whole life. I grew up in Huntington twp where my parents live and operate a small garage. I graduated from Northwest High School. I then went to Slippery Rock University and received my B.S. in Parks and Recreation, Natural Resource Management. After college I worked for the Corps of Engineers as a law enforcement park ranger for a season. I then worked for PA Bureau of Forestry in Jersey Shore for 3 years before moving back to Hollenback twp 12 years ago and returning to working in the trades as a mechanic and machinist. I am married with three boys who are 1 month, 4 and 9. I also volunteer as a leader in my sons’ local cub scout pack 379.
My sons are one of the factors in motivating me to run for office. I am concerned about the direction our country has been going and the freedoms we are losing. We must ensure our country is free and prosperous for the generations to come. I want to do my best to make a difference rather than sitting on the sidelines talking but not doing.
If elected I would actively and dependably represent all the areas and people of the district due to my life long ties to the district and my family being rooted here.
I know my diverse background including having worked in trades, law enforcement, a government natural resource agency, having helped run a business, and volunteering with a civic organization will serve me well to relate to and understand the needs of many people in this district. Thank you for your vote.
